Isaac Cummings was baptized on 24 April 1692 in Topsfield. [TVR][ERC, 8] Isaac, "an aged man," died on 21 October 1761 in Topsfield. [TVR2] Isaac of Ispwich married Abigail Boardman on 8 March 1716/7. [TVR1]

Children of Isaac Cummings and Abigail Boardman:

i. Abigail Cummings was baptized on 2 August 1719 in Topsfield. [TVR][ERC, 24] She married Samuel Potter of Ipswich on 12 July 1738 in Topsford. [TVR1][VRI1]

Samuel and Abigail moved to Bridgewater, New Hampshire. [CM1]

ii. Elisha Cummings was baptized on 2 August 1719 in Topsfield.

iii. Mary Cummings was baptized on 2 October 1720 in Topsfield. [TVR][ERC, 24] She married Ezekiel Potter on 4 June 1741 in Ipswich. [VRI2]

iv. Joseph Cummings was born on 20 March 1721/2. [CM1] He was baptized on 1 April 1722 in Topsfield. [TVR, April / May][ERC, 25]He died on 24 October 1801 in Topsfield. [CM2] He married first Mary Hale on 20 November 1744. [CM2] Mary, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Hovey) Hale of Boxford, was born on 14 January 1725 and died in childbirth on 23 December 1758 in Boxford. [CM2] Joseph married second Judith Perkins on 21 March 1758/[9?] in Topsfield. [TVR1] Judith, the daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Potter) Perkins was born on 2 June 1732 in Topsfield and died on 30 March 1790. [CM2] Joseph married third Lucy Knowlton on 2 June 1791. [CM2]

v. Hannah Cummings was born on 16 January 1724 in Ipswich. [VRI] She was baptized on 30 May 1725 in Topsfield. [TVR][ERC, 27] She died on 22 July 1802 in Topsfield. [CM1] She married Robert Perkins on 8 January 1751 in Ipswich by an intention of 30 September 1750 in Topsfield. [TVR1][VRI2] Robert, the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Town) Perkins, was born on 16 January 1727/8 in Topsfield and died on 10 November 1801. [CM1]

vi. Peletiah Cummings was baptized on 27 October 1728 in Ipswich. [VRI] He died on 15 October 1803 in Marlbroro, New Hampshire. [CM2] He married first Sarah Kimball on on 17 September 1754 in Ipswich. [VRI2] Sarah, the daughter of Abraham and Elizabeth (Houlton) Kimball, was born on 3 December 1732 in Wenham. [CM2] Sarah, the wife of Peletiah and "a middle aged woman" died on 22 May 1769 in Topsfield. [TVR2] He married second Sarah (White) Hammond of Rowley on 8 November 1770 in Rowley. [TVR1] Sarah married first Oliver Hammond of Rowley. [CM2] She died on 1 May 1808. [CM2]
